Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Đerdap, which presents significant evidence of various cultures from the prehistoric, Roman, and medieval periods along the Danube. This is followed by a brief visit to the Roman fortification of Diana. The journey continues with a visit to the Hydroelectric Power Plant Djerdap. Built in 1974 as the largest project of that year in Europe, it significantly altered the course of the Danube, local villages, as well as nearby cultural and historical monuments. A visit to the remains of Trajan’s Bridge. After its construction, for over 1000 years, the bridge was considered the largest in the world. It was built by Roman Emperor Trajan in the early 2nd century to cross the Danube and conquer the Dacian tribes. Arrival at the hotel, where a tasting of famous wines from the Kladovo region will be organized alongside a snack.
